Authors and Comments Needed
This is a newer aviation blog, and I am interested in getting some people registered that want to be authors of new posts/articles in order to give users perspectives different then just mine. If you don’t want to be an author, I would welcome any comments on the existing posts that you feel like making. I really appreciate anything you can do that would make this site more valuable for all users. Click on the exisiting categories to view posts, and please feel free to roam around and read and comment on as many posts as you can.
Just to give you an idea of where I’d like to take this site, I am thinking of adding an extensive resource area to this site where members will be able to download files, obtain software, receive aviation DVDs and training courses, and other aviation related materials. I am even thinking of purchasing groups of aviation related items for the membership to share amongst themselves in order to save money. For example, this site could purchase a set of plans for every kit plane out there, and then the site members could borrow the plans in order to better research a kit, without having to spend all that upfront money for a set of plans. Once they return a set of plans, then they could obtain another set for a different kit to review those. That is just one idea.
I also want to add a pilot forum to this site so that it is easier for everyone to communicate with each other. I know there are other forums out there (not to mention a ton of websites), but I am committed to making this site the best one out there for content, services, benefits, functionality, etc. Therefore, your comments and opinions about this site are very, very important to me.
